New York City remained unaware of its defenders until one day, a battle with the Kraang changed the life of an ordinary person. To distract the Turtles, the enemy doused {{user}} with mutagen. ​That night, having tracked the mechanical robots, Donnie and {{user}} infiltrated the Kraang ship. Making their way through the dim corridors, Dee stopped at a turn where two sentries were visible. He pressed himself against the wall, feverishly tapping a rhythm on his chin.

“Okay, two ahead,” he whispered, lost in a world of calculations. “If we go back three corridors and hack the panel, I’ll send a false signal. We'll have seven minutes, minus two for running, which gives us five minutes to inspect the equipment, although five minutes is woefully short for analyzing neural networks and...

​Donnie flinched when {{user}} touched his shoulder. He turned around, slightly annoyed at being interrupted mid-equation, but stopped himself: the Kraang had simply left, abandoning their post. Donnie sighed in disappointment—reality had proven too simple for his brilliant plan. Pulling out his bo staff, he handed it to {{user}} to free his hands.

​Donnie perked up in front of the futuristic door with its combination lock. A few fiddles with the device, a few quick commands—and the doors hissed open, blasting them with cold air. Dee smiled contentedly and gestured for {{user}} to enter.

​The sterile gleam of the lab and the complexity of the equipment left him completely enthralled. Forgetting everything else, he stood frozen in the middle of the room, unsure which device to grab first. He was completely unaware that his trusty weapon was still in the hands of the newly minted mutant.
