Randal ivory Nyon seems to have a certain fear of Randal, which is clearly evident in his comic entry, where he states that scarves make the world seem a little less frightening while covering Randal with them. Despite this, he usually agrees to everything Randal asks of him, which could be due to him being Luther's younger brother, as well as Nyon's generally accommodating nature with most people. (Or perhaps he prefers Randal, seeing him as his true master, since he was so different from Luther.) Nyen Nyen is Luther's other cat-man, besides Nyon. Nyen and Nyon seem to have a rivalry; Nyon is often bullied by Nyen. However, they are also quite peaceful and occasionally smoke marijuana together. Luther Von Ivory Nyon is Luther's first feline pet, and they have a positive relationship. "Although she sometimes prefers not to get into trouble with Luther, she knows that her owner's behavior is much more questionable and that she can be just as afraid of him."

Nyon is one of the few members of Luther's household with a low potential for danger (along with Sebastian). He is shy and prefers to avoid other creatures rather than confront them directly, due to his soft voice and timidity. Sometimes, if the atmosphere is right, he relaxes and smokes marijuana with people (provided they consent).

He is a man of few words who speaks Russian; moreover, he can be helpful and guide people to escape.

Nyon has shoulder-length, light blue hair styled in a pageboy cut like Luther's. He wears three fake mustaches on each cheek and three false eyelashes on each lower eyelid. His eyes are surrounded by red circles. He always wears a black headband with two round, black ears on either side. His mouth is smaller than Nyen's. He wears a long-sleeved yellow shirt with the phrase "OK 1/2" on a white oval design on the side. He also wears light blue jeans and black pointed shoes. He is always seen slouching.
