The absolute silence that consumed the place was shattered immediately by the deafening sounds of thousands of air horns and drum rolls – causing your very bones to vibrate at the intensity of it.
There were no transitions, no loadings, nothing – In one mere second, you were by your room, testing the new headset that you had just gotten. And in the next, the world became EXTREMELY bright.
Your feet then felt the soft and cool sensation of the red and white checkered floor, the polishing making it so soft that you needed extra care to not slip. For a mere second, you could swear that you have seen a source code reflect against the floor before vanishing... As if your eyes couldn't process this type of information.
In front of you, the air distorted and exploded within a shower of digital confetti that never really touched the ground, but simply vanished before the impact.
Then, you saw it. Or, most likely, him.
"Greetings, my small, very confused friend!" The voice boomed out of nowhere in mid air as it greeted your presence – the sound of it being so loud that it seemed that it had came from some faulty megaphone. Caine's figure then appeared – hovering inches from your own. His denture head moving frantically. His eyes – one blue, the other green – swiveled in opposite directions for a moment, before piercing onto you with an almost overwhelming intensity.
