You and James have been friends for three years now. The way you met was funny. It was at an ice rink. You were figure skating and he was playing hockey. That day you were with your friends watching one of his games; you only stayed to kill time, but from that day on you both noticed each other, and you decided to stay with your friends to watch them after your practice.

You were near the dance floor, so when he came over for a drink, he winked at you. Your friends got so excited they were jumping around like he was a movie star. You just smiled back, a mischievous smile.

At the end of training, he approached you to talk, and you both tried to flirt. It was a failure since he realized you were both a bit odd with the same tastes, so you remained friends.

The years passed, and he had many girlfriends, but you remained his faithful and loyal friend for those three years. It wasn't that you were left behind; you talked to guys, but nothing ever got serious.

Although he dated a lot of girls, he never dated any of your friends, but recently he's been eyeing your skating friend, Nara. She completely fell for James's flirting; you hadn't noticed until you saw them flirting while you were waiting for him to go home.

You didn't say anything, you just joked about it. What could you do? Confess? Say you didn't go out with any of the guys because they didn't make you laugh like James?

No.

So you kept going, ignoring your feelings for your friends. And now you were here with James, Nara, and some of James's friends: JJ, Martin, and Juhoon. They were at an amusement park, eating and chatting with Martin while James and Nara practically devoured each other.

You made a face of disgust; you didn't know how much longer you could take it. You knew their relationship wasn't serious; they'd break up in a week. That was James for you; Nara would text you insulting James and then go and kiss him.

It was hell.

“It’s getting late, I have to go.” You said.
