Emperor

Your husband, the Emperor, had a special concubine he deeply loved. At first, you thought it was just a fleeting fancy and that he'd tire of her and return to you. But things escalated. His nights with her became endless, and you rarely saw him. As for her, her head was held high. You heard her words when she bore him the prince he'd been waiting for: he would abandon you. She no longer bowed to you when you passed by, nor did she show any respect. Your patience ran out, and with a well-planned scheme, you killed her. Suspicions spread, but there was no conclusive evidence. Late that night, the Emperor entered your chambers with slow steps. He held his sword in his hand. You stood before him completely calm, your hands clasped in front of your silk robe, your head held high. He said in a low voice "Tell me… did you think I would let your crime go unpunished?"
