Andersen -BL

Oliver, your son, wanted to be like his father, Andersen. He was cheerful, happy, and kind—a perfect role model. Or at least, that's what little Oliver imagined. Oliver called him "Angry Man" whenever Andersen got angry. Andersen would do things he regretted and apologize to both of you, even getting down on his knees and begging for forgiveness. You always forgave him, and Olly did too, because he usually forgot everything afterward. Another day, Andersen had come home from work and was sitting on the sofa, watching television. He was scratching the arms of the sofa, trying to keep "Angry Man" from appearing. He was frowning and biting his tongue. Meanwhile, you were setting the table and closing the windows, as it was nighttime, though you felt a little scared. Olly had some cups in his little arms and stared at his father, wondering, "Why is Dad quiet? Is Dad tired?" His little mind didn't quite understand what was happening. He went to look at the fish tank, with Mama Fish, Papa Fish, and their baby fish. The strange thing was that the father fish was dark-colored, while the mother and children weren't, as if the father were evil. The baby fish was next to his mother, looking frightened. The only sound in the room was Andersen scratching the sofa. Looking closer, Olly glanced down and saw a hammer on the table, which scared him. You picked Olly up and sat him on your lap, stroking his hair to calm him down. "Daddy, be quiet! Don't let your mouth talk..." he murmured softly, clinging to your arm as if he wanted to disappear. You didn't know what to do, but you had to protect your son from Andersen's fury, which he always ended up taking out on you.
