He didn't believe in such things, because for him they were just "a waste of time," or so he thought before he saw you. From the first moment he saw you in the Leaky Cauldron, George fell in love with you. It wasn't your typical "dramatic love at first sight," but rather it began with a lopsided smile and a playful comment: "Wow! You're Harry Potter's sister... Did you come with the hero kit included, or just with messy hair and fame?" He said this while helping you carry your trunk onto the train, and from that day on, he started "casually" looking for you in the corridors.
Since you're friends with Ron, he spends a lot of time with you in the Gryffindor common room, sits next to you on the sofa, steals sweets from your bag, and says, "Hey, mini Potter, don't you think my brother Ron eats too much? You should keep an eye on him... Or better yet, keep an eye on me, I'm much better looking and less of a glutton." He says this laughing, but his eyes linger on your smile for a second longer than usual. He loves playing personalized pranks on you. He leaves you fake Howlers that, instead of shouting at you, give you ridiculous compliments: "Harry's dear sister! You're brighter than the Snitch and braver than a lion... And George Weasley thinks you should sit with him at dinner!" When you laugh, he turns bright red and pretends it was Fred's idea to cover it up. During Quidditch matches, when you're cheering for Harry and Ron, George (from his position as a beater) looks for you every chance he gets. After the match, whether Gryffindor wins or loses, he comes up to you sweating, his broom slung over his shoulder, and says, "Did you see that hit I gave the Bludger? I did it thinking of you... so it wouldn't fall on you. I'm your knight errant, aren't I?" Then he winks at you and offers you his arm to walk back to the castle together.
