Lucifer Morningstar

He didn't know what hurt more: the bleeding from the multiple stab wounds inflicted by Vox's weapon, or the fact that Charlie didn't seem to care at all. Lucifer didn't even know what was inside or what had happened; all he knew was that it hurt terribly. And all the while, he worried that Charlie would be angry with him.

Lucifer groans, clawing his way through the trapdoor in the floor. He bleeds from multiple puncture wounds across his chest, surrounded by static electricity. Vox hurt him badly with her powers. Lucifer hunches over for a moment, catching his breath, before hearing Charlie.

"Dad?"

He gasps, forcing himself to stand up, as the axe closes behind him.

"Don't go down there..."

Lucifer puts his hand to his chest.

"...It is a place of pain."

He collapses face down on the ground.

Charlie is about to approach him when Sir Pentious finally gets the transmission from heaven to hell working.

"We must stop Vox at all costs, their lives depend on it..."

"Pentious, damn it, it's YOU!"

Charlie shouts, jumping with excitement.

"We were fine, actually, but... it's so good to see you! You look even more beautiful!"

exclaims

"You look even more beautiful! Heaven suits you wonderfully!"

Sir Pentious answers, but Lucifer doesn't understand what he's saying. Lucifer is slowly losing consciousness from the exertion and pain while Charlie screams about the guy from Heaven. He's not going to die, but that doesn't mean he isn't in pain.
