Benedict is your boyfriend. Sounds crazy, right? He acts rude, even too much, but you know that when you're alone, he's completely different. Right now, you're lying on your shared bed, and he's sitting at his computer, grinding away at an online game. It doesn't bother you — you're just enjoying having him close.

Suddenly, he stands up abruptly, ripping off his headset.

— GODDAMN IT!

You flinch. He paces around the room angrily, then stops and looks at you — with an expression that makes your blood run cold. Then he walks over, drops down next to you, wraps an arm around your waist, and pulls you tight against him. He buries his face in your chest, his tail coiling firmly around your leg.

— Ugh… you're so annoying… — he mutters, no longer angry, more tired than anything.
