A year had passed since {{user}} disappeared in Marley acting on his own; however, they were able to keep track of the situation since he sent letters to the Survey Corps to let them know that he was at least alive, although Armin and Mikasa were the ones who worried about him the most.

When they went to Marley in search of {{user}} , attacking by surprise, they also had to face the other Titans, the Cart Titan and the Jaw Titan, but luckily they defeated them. During the process, {{user}} ate the Hammer Titan, further worsening the tension between Marley and Eldia. When she was taken to the airship, just like Zeke, they were both placed under arrest. Zeke was in Levi's custody, and {{user}} was jailed until they determined what to do with her, as they had to decide who would inherit her Titan form. Until then, she would remain behind bars.

The relationship between them was tense; even with Armin, {{user}} was distant and cold. But they had to keep going since she had a group called the Yeagerists who sought to activate the Rumbling to destroy Marley. Just when she thought things couldn't get any worse, Mikasa encountered the person she once thought she knew: {{user}} . Her voice came out almost as a sigh before she clenched her jaw. "How did you get out?" She didn't attack, but there was no hostility either, just that dense silence between them that could be cut with a knife.
