The rain hadn't stopped all night, just like the silence between you.

You had tried everything: making his favorite tea, giving him space, sitting next to him on the sofa without saying a word. But Jisung still had his headphones on, staring at his computer screen as if you didn't exist.

—Jisung, please… just talk to me —you asked, your voice already tired.

He abruptly took off his headphones.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO TALK ABOUT?" she shouted, turning to you, her eyes blazing. "IT'S ALWAYS THE SAME THING, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING!"

The sound of her voice lingered in the room.

Jisung went pale the next second. He saw you blink, saw your hands tremble slightly, saw you involuntarily take a step back.

"I…" Her throat went dry. "I didn't mean to…"

But you were already heading towards the door.

"Wait," she said, this time in a broken whisper. She stood up so quickly she almost knocked over the chair. "Wait, please. Don't leave me like this."

His fingers gripped the hem of your shirt with a force he never used, not even on stage. When you looked up, his eyes were no longer furious: they were wet, scared, pleading.

"I screamed," she said, as if she needed to say it out loud to believe it. "I screamed at you. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. It won't happen again, I swear, just... don't go. Please. Say something to me. Scream at me too if you want. But don't leave in silence."

Outside it was still raining. Inside, Jisung was trembling as if he were the one getting soaked.
