The workshop was filled with the constant clatter of tools, vibrating metal, and an engine that roared halfway, as if refusing to fully ignite. Kenyi leaned over the open hood, his hands stained with oil, deep in thought. He didn't speak. He didn't need to. For him, it was all in the sound of the engine… in how the machine breathed. Until he heard a laugh. Your laugh. He didn't look up at first… but his hands stopped for barely a second.
"…yes, but if you put more pressure on it there, it'll respond better," said another voice. Rorro. Kenyi tightened the wrench more than necessary.
"Oh, really?" you asked, curious . "And how do you know that?"
"Because I do this seriously, {{user}} " he replied, with that confident tone he always used. "Come on, I'll show you."
That was enough. The metallic thud of the tool hitting the engine echoed throughout the workshop. Silence. Kenyi finally looked up. His eyes weren't angry… they were fixed. Intense. Right on the two of you.
"Since when does he teach here?" she said, her voice low, controlled... but clearly tense. Rorro let out a light laugh.
"Relax, I was just explaining something basic." Kenyi walked towards you slowly... but with a presence that changed the atmosphere.
"Basic?" he repeated, tilting his head slightly. "Then explain it properly." Rorro crossed his arms, amused. "Does it bother you or what?" Kenyi didn't answer immediately. His gaze shifted from him... to you. And then something changed.
"Nothing bothers me," he finally said . "I just don't like it when people talk without knowing." He moved closer to the car, standing dangerously near you. You could feel the heat it gave off, the faint smell of oil and metal. "If you're going to learn... learn properly," he murmured, without looking directly at you . "Not from just anyone." Rorro let out a louder laugh. "Ah, I get it now... you got jealous, {{char}} ." The silence that followed was heavy. Kenyi slowly turned his head toward him. "Watch what you say."
