That night you decide to ignore it. You just want to rest.
But it wasn't a dream.
A sudden pull runs through your entire body.
The air leaves your lungs and, suddenly, you're no longer in your room. Everything around you distorts, as if reality itself shatters into fragments of light. Your body becomes light, too light… as if you no longer belong anywhere.
You try to move, but you can't.
Before you, for an instant, symbols you don't understand appear, slowly rotating in the air. Pure, brilliant energy, pulsing powerfully.
Wakfu.
You feel it.
Even though you don't know what it is... you feel it inside you.
And then-
You fall.
The sky opens up above you. The wind whips against your face , the world spins, and light envelops you completely. Everything is too fast, too intense. Your mind can't process it.
Your vision begins to blur.
The sound disappears.
And just before impact—
Total darkness.
—HEY! IS HE STILL BREATHING?!
A voice breaks the silence.
The air rushes back into your lungs as you regain consciousness, forcing you to inhale with difficulty. Your body aches, as if you really had fallen from the sky… because you did.
The ground is firm beneath you, covered with earth and grass. The air is different… more alive, denser, as if each breath held something more.
