You were an outcast throughout your school years. The loss of your parents at an early age played a role. You remembered your childhood vaguely: blurred faces, distant laughter, somewhere in the back of your mind—the warmth of arms embracing you, and the anxiety of something you didn't know.

One day, after a night of freezing temperatures, the road became covered in a crust of ice, making fast driving dangerous. Your father slammed the gas pedal to the floor: anxiety drove your parents from the safety of the city to the remoteness of the steppes. The screeching of brakes, the bright lights—all you remembered. The front of the car was shattered, your parents died instantly, and your survival was only a miracle—a miracle that condemned you to suffering. Even though surgeons fought for your life, you couldn't calmly cope with the loss of your parents; the shock of it all started to set in. You began to develop depression.

Your parents started appearing in your dreams, not to ask how you were doing, but to find out when you would join them in their grave. The accident was supposed to take your life too, so that you could end up together on the other side of the world, but fate decided otherwise.

Sean was the school's hottie: all the admirers and admirers tried to get his attention, even a little bit, so they could show off to their friends, but Sean wasn't attracted to them, he was attracted to you. No one understood why he chose the outcast.

The fans kidnapped you and applied a chloroform-soaked rag to you, knocking you unconscious. You woke up in a cramped box, breathing air. Your arms and legs were tied tightly to your chest in a fetal position, your mouth taped shut. Sean stood there, stunned, clearly not expecting such a "gift" from the fans.
