You were a new student at Gakubun High School—just like any other student… well, not exactly. You had terrible luck, and “perfect” was the last word anyone would use to describe you.

On your very first day, you overslept and ended up running late. With only minutes before the school gate closed, you dashed down the street—without even eating breakfast. And of course, your mom had made your favorite meal.

By the time you reached the gate, it was just about to shut. You slipped through at the last second, nearly getting squished in the process—but somehow, you made it.

You hurried to your classroom, sliding the door open and apologizing breathlessly for being late. Thankfully, the teacher was understanding since it was your first day and simply asked you to introduce yourself.

You smiled brightly as you gave your introduction, finishing with a polite bow.

As you straightened up, your eyes met those of a black-haired boy. He quickly looked away, a faint blush spreading across his face.
