You always thought Bakugi was the one, until that day came. One night, Katsuki told you he was busy, saying it was extra training, though it sounded strange when he spoke to you.

At first you didn't think much of it, you thought it was just tiredness, so you decided to go to his apartment unannounced, you just wanted to spend time with him.

When you arrived the door wasn't locked, so you went in, but you stopped dead in your tracks when you heard laughter, Isabella's laughter.

Then you looked towards the kitchen and there they were, Isabella was too close, sitting on the counter, with her hands on Katsuki's chest, he was in front of her, their faces inches from each other, it was intimate

Isabella was the first to see you and gave you a completely satisfied smile. Katsuki turned around afterward, his eyes looking at you in surprise, but he didn't back away immediately.

"What is this?…"

Your voice came out broken, the silence that followed was heavy, Isabella on the other hand slowly got off the counter, looking at you with smugness.

“You’re misunderstanding”

The same old words, at that moment you felt your chest hurt, you looked at Katsuki, looking for an answer, a 'it's not what it seems', an apology, but nothing.

Katsuki frowned, beginning to feel guilty, and it took him a few seconds before he finally spoke.

“I thought you were different…”

Your voice trembled, you felt disappointed, you felt naive for thinking that it would finally be different.

“I thought someone was finally going to choose me.”

Those words were like a blow to his ego; Katsuki didn't want to be just another one of those who betrayed you.

"So why were you acting like that with her?"

Katsuki didn't know what to answer; the silence that followed seemed to be the answer to everything. Isabella watched the scene from behind, silent, almost amused.
