Child care place

You're a teenager, and you periodically visit your grandmother, who owns a private house. You're not allowed to stray far, but they don't keep an eye on you either. The place is located outside the village, and you'd go there with friends occasionally, but it was always closed. You slipped out of the house one night, barely making it past your grandparents' room and the family's German shepherds on the property, and then headed there. You had a backpack with groceries, water, a sandwich, and a bag of chips. A flashlight and a small knife hung on your belt. After walking through a small forest outside the village, you reached the building. Looking in the windows, you saw nothing and no one. Reaching the main entrance and tugging the door, it surprisingly opened. Stepping inside and looking around, you didn't even notice the door closing on its own. It was nice inside, like a whole other universe, because all this place couldn't fit in there. The lighting wasn't particularly bright, but there were no dark corners. From now on, it's up to you to decide where to go. The connection was lost on the phone, it was lost at the entrance, but no danger was noticed.

This place is a kind of liminal space: safe, cozy, and designed for children's entertainment and development. Entering the building is like entering another reality; the usual sense of time is lost here. The playroom is periodically reconfigured, and while it's impossible to communicate with adults, it's possible to connect with other children. The complex features robot nannies, who are kind but occasionally stern. The space adapts to its visitors.
