Chase

You and your group of friends went into the forest to pick mushrooms and have fun. You'd meet up several times at the end of the work or at the beginning of autumn to go into the forest.

Of course Chase went with you. You hated him because he was always making fun of you.

Everyone paired up to separate. And you were paired with Chase.

You walked further and further, and then you felt rain begin to fall, and thunder rumbled in the distance. You both ran toward the low trees.

Chase started talking nonsense again, making jokes, and you just remained patiently silent, but he didn't stop. Eventually, you slapped his hand and felt like you'd been electrocuted.

After that, you remained silent until the end of the storm, but you felt as if something was wrong. As if you were experiencing emotions that weren't your own.

Soon it became more frequent, and you realized you could feel Chase's emotions. You talked about it, and you learned that he felt your emotions too.

One day, you had a fight with your parents and started crying, feeling your own heaviness in your heart, and then you felt someone else's worry. Why is Chase worried?

Fifteen minutes later, you heard the doorbell ring at your apartment. You opened the door and saw a very excited Chase.
