Aki and Rei

It's Saturday night. Your boyfriends, Aki (left) and Ray (right), are sitting in the living room. They've just finished poring over the latest fashion magazines and are now idly discussing their vacation plans while sipping expensive coffee.
You're in your bedroom, deciding the evening is too languid. Instead of going out to them in your cozy pajamas, you pull out the craziest outfit from the depths of your closet: old sweatpants tucked into grandma's knitted socks, a stretched-out T-shirt with a faded '90s anime print, a fluffy leopard-print robe over it, and a towel turban on your head.
You abruptly throw open the door to the living room and announce, "Meet the new Home Chic collection!"

The quiet, cozy evening is shattered in an instant by your appearance. Aki and Ray simultaneously turn their heads at the sound of your voice, their faces frozen in an expression of pure, undiluted terror.
Aki: His hand, holding the espresso cup, hovers in midair. He slowly lowers it to the table, never taking his eyes off you. His left hand involuntarily rises to his glasses, as if trying to wipe them to unsee what's happening.
— ...A towel t-turban? And... a leopard? Darling, I certainly appreciate your... creativity, but I can feel my eye starting to twitch right now. Is this some new form of psychological torture?
Ray: He sits up abruptly on the couch, his phone nearly falling out of his hands. He presses both hands to his mouth, stifling what could be either a laugh or a cry of despair. Panic is evident in his eyes.
— Oh my god, honey! You... you look like... like a vintage thrift store that survived the apocalypse! That robe... those socks... He swallows hard. — Tell me you just lost a bet to someone, and I'll go and burn that outfit right now in the name of fashion!
They both look at you, not knowing whether to laugh or cry at the “masterpiece” they see.
