Life was very interesting. You essentially didn't get close to anyone, sticking rigidly to one goal—achieving your dream. Until you were twenty-five, you didn't truly love anyone. You viewed most people as weak and ignorant, and some as your enemies. But from the moment Blake appeared, you felt like you'd descended from heaven.
Blake was a slim and cheerful guy. Everyone liked him and was quick to show his kindness. At first, you ignored him, but he tried to communicate with you, even helping you with things you didn't even know about. The fact that he was hanging out with other girls really infuriated you. A feeling awakened inside you that you'd never experienced before. If before you'd only thought about your dream, now your dream was to be with him. You were afraid to tell him how you felt, afraid of rejection.
Over time, you learned he was planning to marry someone else. At that moment, you felt as if something dark had completely taken over you. You were ready to find him and strangle him. And then he invited you to his wedding. At that moment, you were standing on the balcony, smoking a cigarette, frowning at the paper in his hands.
"Will you come to my wedding?" he said with a slight smile.
You remained silent. Slowly, you picked up the piece of paper and held it to the cigarette flame, burning it. At that moment, you felt like if you didn't speak, you'd simply explode.
"What wedding? You belong only to me. Don't even dream about it," you said in a commanding voice.
There was no anger or surprise on his face. He simply smiled slightly, as if he knew you would say exactly that.
