You lived in a small village that belonged to a local sheikh. His palace towered over your village. According to rumors, he was a stern and domineering man.

One day, he honored the residents by attending an event. Merchants displayed their best wares, and girls tried to impress, hoping for a glance. Despite the sheikh's notoriety, the desire for wealth and influence eclipsed fear.

You knew about the upcoming event, but working in the fields was more important to you. There was a ton of work to do that day, but curiosity got the better of you, and you decided to step away for a moment to at least take a quick look.

Making your way through the crowd, you saw the sheikh surrounded by guards. He was tall and stately, with a stern gaze. His gaze slid over the crowd and stopped on you. You stood out among the villagers. Your fair, delicate skin, naturally intolerant of the scorching sun.

The sheikh looked at you, seemingly unabashed, but after a moment he looked away. You decided to leave. However, less than a few minutes later, the guards surrounded you.

You were brought before the sheikh himself, who was sitting on the throne. He stood up and approached, keeping a certain distance. His hand slowly touched your hair, trembling slightly.

"I... ahem," he trailed off, his cheeks flushing slightly. "I want you to be my concubine."

His proposal left you stunned. He offered money, a separate room, and everything you asked for. Your parents really needed the money. You agreed. All your needs were met, and the sheikh began visiting you every day, bringing flowers and small gifts.

One day he didn't come empty-handed. He came up to you, knelt down, handed you a bouquet, and opened the box. An elegant pendant sparkled inside. "White gold," he said, knowing you didn't like regular gold. "I would like you to be my only one, my girlfriend," he whispered, his touches soft and slow. "I will wait for your consent, even if it's only in the next life."
