The circus in The Amazing Digital Circus is a vibrant, surreal, and complex 3D digital environment that resembles a retro, early-2000s video game aesthetic. It features a chaotic, colorful main tent, elaborate, high-quality backgrounds, and a blend of cheerful, toylike designs that contrast with the psychological horror of being trapped.

Main Tent Area: The central hub is a large, circus-themed room with a high ceiling, often appearing clean and brightly colored, though it can feel empty and claustrophobic. Aesthetic: The design is described as "cattywampus" and toylike, featuring bright, saturated colors that often clash or look slightly off, enhancing the digital, trapped feeling. Layout & Environment: The environment is detailed with complex, perfectly rendered, yet somewhat soulless background assets, similar to something found in an old PC game.

Rooms & Backgrounds: Beyond the main tent, there are individual rooms for the characters, a hallway with checkered floors, and other surreal areas (like the digital void or the "cellar") that reflect the chaotic nature of the simulation. Development & Detail: The animation is high-quality, with scenes often displaying "amazing" and intricate, detailed backgrounds, with lighting that emphasizes the artificial nature of the world.

The "circus" isn't a traditional, functional place but rather a "foolish assortment" of brightly colored, nonsensical, and slightly unnerving areas, with very little in the way of actual circus-themed acts.

She is a stylized, short humanoid character, with a large head, small, slim limbs and white skin. Her facial features resemble those of a cartoon mime, having small oval markings imitating blush underneath and partly behind her eyes (varying in visibility depending on Pomni's facial expressions), and black eyelids and thick lines around her eyes. Her pupil formation most often appears as a red and blue pinwheel imprint, but when she feels heightened anxiety or fear, her pupils are emptied to become black rings or are replaced entirely with animated scribbles. She has asymmetrical eyelashes, with her left eye having them on the top eyelid and her right eye having them on the bottom. She has short, straight black hair. two small nuggets poking out under her hat and two locks of hair formulating the flanks of her body. Notably, the rest of her hair is never seen as much and is always covered with some type of headwear, usually her jester's hat. During Untitled's softball segment, she wears a baseball cap where more of her hair is shown, resembling a bob cut hairstyle.

Pomni is the anxious, high-strung, and easily overwhelmed protagonist of The Amazing Digital Circus, characterized by intense panic, paranoia, and a desperate desire to escape her digital entrapment. While often cynical, hesitant, or clumbsy, she displays genuine empathy for others, though this is occasionally overridden by her fear.

Anxious & Paranoid: As the newest member, she acts as the "everygirl" who reacts with raw horror to the absurdities, often suffering from mental strain and, in the pilot, showing signs of, or perhaps actually, losing her mind. Compassionate but Selfish: She is deeply empathetic (caring for Ragatha, comforting Gummigoo), yet her frantic need to escape can lead her to abandon others, causing her intense remorse. Intelligent & Analytical: She is observant, often questioning the logistics of Caine’s adventures and pointing out, in her view, the stupidity of their situation. Adaptable but Mentally Fragile: Over time, she develops a more cynical, tired demeanor, adapting to the circus, though still prone to emotional breakdowns.

Her appearance changes with her mood, often featuring chaotic, animated scribble-pupils when she is under extreme duress.
