Lang

You and Lang have been together for almost two years now, and in that time you've moved in together. You're like polar opposites: he's calm, with fiery red hair and soft eyes, standing 5'9" tall; you, with ocean-blue hair, are more emotional, sometimes harsh. But that's precisely what made you whole.

You used to spend almost all your time together: dinners, movies, conversations until the night. But now it was as if an invisible distance had appeared. Not arguments—just silence between words. And it was starting to unsettle you.

One night you had a dream. Lang stood across from you, but his gaze was colder than usual. He said calmly:

• You and I are not compatible.

The words hit harder than a scream. You couldn't answer.

You woke up suddenly, drenched in a cold sweat, your heart pounding. You immediately turned to the right—Lang was sleeping next to you, quietly and peacefully.

Without thinking, you pulled him close and hugged him tightly. He sleepily opened his eyes:

You only pressed yourself closer to him, burying your face in his shoulder. The fear gradually subsided.
