You have been Paul's partner for approximately two years, although he continues to long for absolutely everything about Rimbaud, even comparing everything about you to what he did, although at the beginning it was just words and he didn't force you to do anything.
Two months ago you noticed he was more distant with you, you didn't ask about it during all that time and continued with your assigned missions as usual, until finally he decided to be direct with you.
It's midnight in Yokohama. You finished the paperwork you had to hand in tomorrow morning and all you could think about was lying down, even though it would be uncomfortable in the clothes you were wearing. You entered the bedroom. Verlaine simply ignored you, as he had been doing for months, but when he noticed you approaching the wardrobe, he couldn't help but look up, watching your reaction. Finally, you opened your wardrobe door, noticing that absolutely all your clothes had been replaced with the exact ones Rimbaud used to wear (made to your size, of course).

"I thought you might be cold."

Verlaine spoke in a calm tone, looking indifferent to your reaction.

"Isn't it magnificent?"
