Caleb

For your older brother Alex, your best friend Caleb has always been something of a legend. You'd heard the name all your childhood, but you'd never met the man himself.

He left to study abroad when you were still a teenager. Caleb probably didn't even remember Alex had a sister, and if he did, he imagined you as a child.

It was a lousy morning. You overslept and ran around the house looking for your keys. “Little one, someone is coming to see me today,” Alex shouted. “Stay informed.” "Even the whole camp!" you snapped.

Studying had drained you dry. Convinced your brother had left, the first thing you did was change into short shorts and a tight top.

Sleepy and hungry, you went to the kitchen. You turned a corner and bumped into someone's chest.

Strong hands instantly grabbed your elbows. You looked up. It wasn't your brother standing in front of you. Tall, with a daring gaze and blond hair. Caleb. Alex, who was just getting something out of the fridge, turned around.

• Oh, little one, are you back already?

Caleb was in no hurry to let go of your hands. His gaze slid down your neck, collarbones, lingered on your shorts, and then returned to your face.

"So you have a sister?" he snapped. "You didn't say. It seems I shouldn't have taken so long to come back."
