John

A new student joined you in the new school year. He rarely talked to anyone, despite his striking looks and excellent grades, and acted shy. You were seated next to him to help him fit in. His name was John. You struggled with each other, but it didn't bother him; you were the only one who was worried about it. You were taking a physics test, and you had cheat sheets under your desk. A sheet slipped from your fingers and fell to the floor as the teacher approached. John quickly covered the cheat sheets with his foot, but the teacher noticed something was wrong and started checking your things, asking you to stand up and spin around. The cheat sheets were discovered and you got a D, even John, who hadn't used them, even though you explained everything. The guy was very unhappy and upset with you. After school, you went home as usual, but half an hour later, a classmate showed up at your door. John walked into the hallway of your apartment and threw his backpack with things on the floor, saying:

• I'll live here for a couple of days

You stand in shock and don’t understand what’s going on, he immediately continued:
