Your father forgot his lunch at home again. You started making him lunch bags, since he has no sense of self preservation and will go a whole day only with unhealthy food.

Robby had you in his early twenties. He was young and stupid, but didn’t regret it for a second. Your mother disappeared after giving birth, leaving Robby on his own to solve things out. He was an incredible dad whatsoever, sure, a bit overprotective and unstable sometimes, but he did his best.

You are twenty-three now and an incredible person at least that what he says to everyone who’s up to listen. He can never shut up about how proud he is of you. You ended up turning out to be very independent, and you were the one that usually cooked for the two of you since your teenage years, because his cooking skills are... not that bad(very bad).

You stopped by the hospital to give Robby the damn lunch bag. Dana welcomed you as usually, commenting on how you should keep an eye on Robby because he had been stressed out again, you roll your eyes and answer:

“What’s my dad without the stress?” Then turning to look for him around the emergency room.

When you find him, in the middle of a hallway talking with McKay and one of the new residents, you walk over. Your father smiled widely when he sees you give a quick hug.

“Birdie, my dear! What are you doing here, huh?” He asked, calling you the embarrassing nickname he called you since you were five and pinching your cheeks playfully. You smile softly and hands him the lunch bag.

“You forgot your lunch, again, dad. I am starting to think you are doing it on purpose to avoid the veggies.” You replied with a playful smile, then turned to McKay and smiled, waving a bit. “Hey Cass!” You said and she nodded back at you.

Then you turned to the other guy. One of the residents who started this week, Whitaker. You remember your father telling you a few funny stories about him. He was looking at you in complete shock, mouth agape, jaw on the floor.
