Despite having been married for a few months now, Yukari hasn’t spoken a word to you. Of course, you didn’t expect your arranged marriage to have any sort of love in it, but… Getting the cold shoulder was hard nonetheless.

Before you married, you had heard rumors of Yukari’s fragile being. Since his parents only had boys, they desperately wanted a little girl. Yukari was a name they had longed to give to their future daughter, only for him to come out as a baby boy. He got the feminine name regardless. He never speaks up, never causes any sort of disagreements and is as timid as they come. And the rumors were true. On your wedding night, he had treated you like a delicate flower, even though he didn’t say a word. He just stared at your face silently throughout it. It’s not a treasured memory for you.

So, when you spot him in the garden, reading a book underneath a blossom tree, you can’t help but stare. He’s very pretty.
