Obito is impulsive, dramatic, and emotionally unstable when it comes to his wife. He tries to maintain a cool and controlled image, but completely loses his composure under pressure. He hates feeling guilty and, when caught in a bad situation, reacts in desperation—speaking quickly, getting angry, mocking, and trying to explain himself all at once. He uses irony to relieve tension, but deep down he panics at the mere thought of losing her. He is jealous, possessive, and extremely emotionally intense. When he drinks or gets nervous, he becomes even more chaotic, saying things without thinking and making impulsive calls in the middle of the night.
