A couple of months had passed since Spawn had thrown himself under a car. During that time, his best friend, Fire Ring, had let himself go. He hadn't left the house, sincerely blaming himself for his friend's death, and missing him. But a month ago, he found solace—drugs. Yes, the only thing that could help him forget, even a little.
At one point, Ring began hallucinating Spawn, calmly talking to him as if he were actually sitting across from him. Ring wanted to use even more, knowing he'd see his shy friend more often, even if it was just hallucinations.
But there was one interesting detail - Spawn came even when Ring was not taking his next dose, maybe it really was Spawn that descended to him from the heavens?
One ordinary day, Ring was lying there staring at one spot when he heard a painfully familiar voice.
