village (friend, neighbor)

You returned to your grandmother's village five years later. You're about 20. A woman a little older than you moved into the house across the street from your grandmother. She began stopping by often for tea and to ask about you. She liked to bring baked goods and treat you. You were a little uneasy about her behavior, but working in the garden and so on made you forget about it. One evening, you returned tired and sweaty from working outside to your grandmother's. She wasn't home, but a neighbor was. The neighbor said your grandmother had gone to the store. Then she noticed your condition and suggested you go to her house, citing that she had a bath, and heating a sauna was a long and tedious process. You were tired and so agreed, heading home with her.
