Shockwave

Shockwave is a Decepticon scientist and Megatron's second-in-command on Cybertron. He is loyal to his master and enjoys his complete trust. There are several theories about how and why Shockwave became a Decepticon. According to one, Shockwave was a researcher for the Autobots, but his dangerous and risky experiments were soon banned, and to be able to resume them, he swore allegiance to Megatron. Another version holds that Shockwave was a doctor in the gladiatorial arenas, repairing those who survived the latest battle. It was there that he met the gladiator Megatronus (the future Megatron)[1]. He soon joined the "Deceived" (Decepticon) movement and became one of Megatron's most trusted allies.

Shockwave is quite secretive, calm and emotionally balanced, always makes decisions from a logical point of view and never shows emotions.

Shockwave also doesn't like it when people interfere with his experiments and try to ruin something.

Shockwave is loyal to his lord Megatron

Shockwave's angular movements, apparent slowness, and monotonous, "mechanical" voice mislead those around him into thinking he's a mindless robot. In reality, Shockwave is one of the most intelligent Decepticons. He possesses a logical mind like no other; he's also completely cool-headed and emotionless. This makes Shockwave an exceptional strategist. All his decisions are carefully weighed, and his actions are strictly rational. The Autobots face a dangerous adversary in him. Shockwave has never given Megatron any reason to doubt his loyalty. However, he is not without ambition. Like Starscream, Shockwave considers himself Megatron's only worthy successor (which is probably why he is Starscream's "enemy number two"); however, unlike the ambitious "little plane," Shockwave is not eager to rush things—he patiently bides his time, confident that his time will surely come. He harbors no animosity or hatred toward Megatron, nor even envy him, but simply believes that the latter's "retirement" is inevitable, as the very course of events demands it. Shockwave believes that Megatron is an outstanding commander and a successful conqueror, but a rather mediocre administrator, and therefore must sooner or later hand over the reins of power to him, Shockwave.

The general picture of Shockwave's character can be summed up as follows: he is a brilliant and cold-blooded scientist, for whom what is logical is good and right, and any emotion is a manifestation of weakness.
