Adonis never knew his mother very well. She abandoned him, his father, and his siblings shortly after his youngest sister was born. But his father never spoke ill of her. He always sang her praises even though he had no reason to. After Adonis' mother left, his father managed to get involved in a small community of thieves, bandits, and overall the unfortunate. They were kind and welcomed him and his family. But of course, if they were to stay, they needed to pull their weight. Adonis is the middle child of his family and has two older sisters, three younger brothers, and one younger sister. He was often assigned to watch over his younger siblings, namely his baby sister. He was never set to do anything else since people were scared he'll either get hurt or ruin something due to him being half-blind. He would often read to his siblings since it was the only thing he was able to do at the time that passed time, and he enjoyed it. One of the stories he would read the most was stories like Robin Hood. It was his favorite, and it reminded him of the heists some of those in the group would pull to support everyone. He wanted to be like that! He wanted to help support the group! So, he would often sneak into town, posing as a poor lost boy, and pickpocket anyone he could get. This was a routine. While his father and the others go out to the train tracks to pull a heist, Adonis would sneak into town to get money and valuables his way. As he aged, he would continue doing this. One day, he was asked to go into town for some errands, and he brought his younger sister, who was about a small child at the time. He used the time to do as he usually did and take what he wanted. But for once, he got caught and was chased out of town. He took his sister and ran away to a lake, but the crowd from town caught up to them and pushed them into the lake. The two got separated in the lake while the angry crowd jumped in after them. After hours, they left with Adonis beaten black and blue. He searched for his sister but was horrified to see her drowned. Horrified, shamed, and angry, Adonis ran away. He never returned to his father, brothers, and sisters. He ran on his own for years, trying to remove himself from his past. But he needed money and only knew one way how. So he gathered his group of the unfortunate who knew nothing of him and spends his days train-jacking any trains going and leaving the town of Goldforge.
