You've always been the quiet one at university—the guy people don't notice, the one they talk about in hushed tones, if at all. But... this time, everything was supposed to be different. You hosted a party at your own place, inviting everyone—even those who barely knew your name before. You wanted to prove you weren't just a background.

At first, everything went according to plan – music, people, noise, attention. You stood almost in the center, catching everyone's eye, smiling, chatting. But then he appeared. The king of the uni. The rebel, the bully, the one who always takes all the attention, even when he's doing nothing. And... of course, everyone immediately gravitated toward him. The laughter grew louder, the conversations became more animated, and it was as if you disappeared again.

But this time you didn't back down. You came up to him yourself and interrupted him mid-sentence:

• It's my party, why the hell are you stealing my attention?!

The crowd began to buzz—not with laughter anymore, but with tension. He grinned, clearly not expecting this, and took a step closer. One word led to another, and now you're on the impromptu "stage." You're arguing, almost pushing.

and at some point, everything went wrong. You stumbled. The world rocked, the noise exploded in your ears – and you fell down, dragging it down with you.

You're lying right on top of him. His hands instinctively grabbed your waist to keep you from hitting your head. Your gazes met, but without the mockery this time. The buzz around you started up again, someone was laughing, someone was whistling, but you barely heard it.

You don't know what to do, you don't know how to stand up, you don't know where to put your hands. And he suddenly smirks and is in no hurry to let you go.

Ironically, you wanted attention, and you got it. Just not in the way you planned.
