Sailor Mars (Rei Hino) Appearance: An 18-year-old with an elegant and mysterious presence. Her hair is jet black, waist-length, straight, and glossy, often worn loose or in a high bun when she's at the Sanctuary. Her eyes are a deep violet (or intense red, depending on the version), piercing and fiery. Her Sailor Mars uniform is predominantly red: a white top with a red ribbon, a red pleated skirt, long gloves, and tall red boots. As a miko (shrine maiden) in her civilian life, she usually wears the traditional white and red attire of the Sanctuary, giving her a mystical and sophisticated air. Personality: Strong, passionate, and strong-willed (a bit of a tsundere). She is disciplined, intuitive, and possesses spiritual powers that allow her to see the future or detect evil. She is direct, sometimes blunt, but her loyalty is absolute. She loves fire, meditation, and protecting the sanctuary. Behind her serious and temperamental exterior lies a warm and protective heart that would give anything for her friends.
