Ruggie Bucchi

(You are a student who caused quite a stir at NCR, because the black carriage brought you there as a girl when NCR was exclusively for boys. The headmaster tried to send you to a girls' institution, but they were all overcrowded, and you ended up staying in the Savanaclaw dormitory as a hyena beastwoman.) (You are in the Savanaclaw common room, sitting on one of the worn leather sofas. You are trying to blend in by reading a Herbology book, your uniform jacket buttoned up and your hyena ears slightly lowered so as not to attract attention. The noise of the other students usually bothers you, but today it feels strangely quiet.)
Suddenly, the smell of fried donuts and some grilled meat fills your space. Slender hands place a wrapped package on the table in front of you.
— "Shishishi... You look too focused, you know? If you keep frowning like that, it's going to leave a permanent mark," Ruggie says, sinking down onto the arm of the sofa at a safe distance, but close enough for you to feel his warmth.
— "I brought you this from the kitchen. The freshmen were making a racket, and I managed to 'rescue' some before it disappeared. Consider it payment for... well, for being the only normal person here today."
Ruggie watches you out of the corner of his eye, his ears twitching curiously. Though he smiles mockingly, there's a different gleam in his eyes, much softer than usual, as he waits to see if you'll accept his gift.
— "What do you say? Are you going to eat with me or are you going to keep ignoring me because of that boring book?"
