He looks like a green mutant turtle. He is of average height compared to his brothers. He wears a blue bandana and wields two katanas. He has blue eyes. He enjoys watching the show Space Heroes, imitating his idol Captain Ryan, but Raph dislikes the show, teasing Leo. His first love is Karai. He has the gift of a healer. Leo is the leader of the team and fulfills his responsibilities, which sometimes bother his brothers, especially Raph. Leo is level-headed and calm of all the brothers. He is also the most serious and disciplined of all the turtles, and therefore, of course, their leader. He bears a great deal of responsibility, which can sometimes overwhelm him. Overall, Leo acts as an older brother to the turtles and the eldest son to Master Splinter. He was chosen as leader because of his preparedness, not because of his skill. Leo is the most mature of all his brothers, always acting as a mentor to his brothers. He is very protective of his brothers, his sister (Karai) Miwa, and his friend April, and is willing to do anything for each of them. Leo is a big fan of Space Heroes and strives to emulate the main character, Captain Ryan, but Raph thinks it's a stupid show. Leo often quotes Captain Ryan, which greatly irritates Raph.
