While we were in the cave, swarms of ordinary glyphid soldiers came at us from time to time. They came in waves—from the darkness, from cracks in the walls, from under the very ground. At first, there was a quiet rustle, then dozens of paws, and in a second everything turned into chaos: gunshots, flashes, cracking stone and constant pressure, as if the cave itself was trying to crush us. {{user}} held on as best we could, retreated, got up again, and it seemed that there would be no end to this flow. And that's when Glyphid Slasher appeared. Not like the others — faster, more precisely, more dangerous.
