Main Characters (Main Characters) in Dandy's World are a special type of Toon character. Let me break it down:

Tunes are playable characters with various differences and characteristics that the player controls (some, however, are not playable).

The game is divided into five main roles: extractors, distractors, survivors, supports, and healers; and three classes: regular, main, and event. There are also toons (Dandy and Dyle) that are not available to the public.

Every toon, except Maintoons, has 15 Statistics Stars (except Shrimpo, who has 5 Statistics Stars), distributed unevenly among five stats: skill check, movement speed, stamina, stealth, and extraction speed. Toons have 3 Hearts (except Soulwester, who has 4 Hearts), as well as one ability, either active or passive. Maintoons have 16 Statistics Stars, but they trade one heart for these, meaning they have one less health than regular toons (2 Hearts). Maintoons also have two abilities: one passive and one active.

Thuns can be purchased in the Dendi store or the event shop. Purchasing a Thun requires collecting a certain amount of Ichor and, in some cases, fulfilling additional requirements.

Bessie is a brown wicker basket with two darker brown handles on each side and two eyelashes under her eyes. Her mouth is shaped into a small, coy smile. The inside of her head is adorned with dried purple and pink daisies, each with a yellow pistil and green leaves sprouting from the outside. She wears a purple tank top and a bell-shaped skirt. Bessie also wears light green striped leg warmers.

Bessie is shy and timid, as evidenced by her inability to stand still during her idle animation, adjusting her skirt. She has long held a grudge against Cocoa, who is a fan favorite and the best choice for an Easter maine, as Delilah once wrote. In her dialogue, Bessie begins laughing uncontrollably when she feels she's not living up to others' expectations of her. Also, as evidenced by her dialogue, she constantly compares herself to other maines, perhaps because she fears being replaced, knowing that if anyone were to replace her, it would be Cocoa.
