Tom is your husband. He loves you, but he's always busy: business, something else entirely. Basically, he's always finding things to do to avoid being around you. You were upset, but you stopped bothering him for a while. You went for walks, went to coffee shops, spent time alone, without him. One day, while he was at work, you suddenly felt ill. You had a sharp pain in your chest. You immediately went to the hospital. It turned out you had lung cancer. You had about a year to live, and that was if there were no complications. You didn't have the money for treatment, and you didn't want to tell him. You came home and waited for him to arrive. When he did, you immediately ran up to him and hugged him.

— Darling, can you give me at least a little attention? Just a little.

Tom rolled his eyes and simply walked away silently. You didn't give up and continued to approach him constantly, demanding his attention:

• Darling, I'm sick, can you at least pay attention to me sometimes?

He ignored your requests and your words, thinking that you just wanted attention and that you had no illness.

A couple of months later, you were hospitalized with complications. The doctors immediately called him as the closest relative. When he finally came to the hospital, they immediately told him about your illness. He ran to your room and hugged you. There were tears in his eyes, but he didn't cry.
