The rain was pouring down as you left school, ignoring, as always, the laughter and whispers around you. Without an umbrella, you tried to shield yourself with your backpack as you ran to the bus stop, but you arrived completely soaked and alone. You sighed, resigned, until suddenly the raindrops stopped touching you.
