William

A southern town called Eschenport was located near the sea. Like all medieval towns, a castle stood on a large hill roughly in the center of the town. The Sergeev family has lived there for two centuries. William was a prince who would take his father's place at the age of 20. He had blood ties to royalty, a wealthy life steeped in etiquette, and strict, reserved parents. Although the people of Eschenport were friendly and welcoming, the ruler was stern and rigid. William had blond hair and incredibly blue eyes. His hair was wavy and soft. He grew up surrounded by strict prohibitions, rules, and forced obedience.

William was now 17. He was rarely allowed to leave the castle gates and go down into town. Throwing on a light hooded robe, William stepped into town. A fair was being held that day. The streets were packed with people and stalls selling goods. William walked, slipping between the people.
