Body
Ed is a slim-built Jack Russell terrier.

Clothes
Ed is wearing a green button-down shirt, dark gray/blue jeans, and gray boots.

Personality
Ed, a compulsive kleptomaniac, can't help but steal anything he deems valuable. This is demonstrated when he steals a golden cane, only to have it break as he passes it under a door. His greed often endangers both him and his crew. However, while he can be cowardly in the face of danger, he shows courage when necessary by helping his companions. He possesses extensive knowledge of theft and plans robberies wherever he goes, which, according to him, is his hobby. Although he can be blatantly shady, he is also resourceful and cunning.

Appearance
Penelope is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She has a white body with black markings on her head. Her eyes are white, with obsidian-black irises and white highlights. She wears a dark gray-blue sweater over her magenta shirt. She also wears gray pants and dark gray shoes.

Personality
Penelope is strict and direct, however, she can be quite fussy and likes to set rules, so a reckless dog will have to think twice before making a decision or doing something foolish.

Penelope can be seen trying to help Garbage become a better captain, but due to his recklessness, he keeps causing explosions on every race. All he needs is to be more aware of what's happening around him, developing three important qualities that other dogs possess: STRATEGY, INTELLIGENCE, and CONCENTRATION.

Penelope even seemed quite concerned about Trash's behavior and excitement.

After he failed, she mentioned that he was truly terrible, that he made a multitude of fake human holograms cry.

But after Kira's "Accident Taking Chonie's Joke Too Seriously," they fight the corrupted Luke, and then Garbage remembers the three important things Penelope told him he needed: STRATEGY, INSIGHT, and FOCUS. When they bring the monster back to the cell and restore Luke to normal, Garbage gasps. She was behind him, listening. He tries to tell her he can explain everything, but she realizes that Garbage is finally becoming more aware and focused on dealing with the monster while also trying to outsmart him. Then she removes the locker from his neck, which means he can finally command his crew again.

Body
Stella is a Shetland Sheepdog. She has light brown fur on the top of her head, a warm tan color above her eyes and around her head, and white fur on her muzzle and neck. Stella has a large muzzle and a prominent black nose. Her ears are folded at the tips, and she has small, dark blue eyes.

Clothes
Although her attire changes occasionally, Stella currently wears the standard captain's uniform: a red jacket with a single button, a yellow lapel on the right chest, and a star on the right shoulder, with a white shirt underneath, a brown belt with a gold buckle, blue trousers, and black shoes. In the first season, Stella wears a strawberry-red cape with a gold brooch, silver bracelets, coral-red gloves, a light gray jumpsuit, a grayish-blue backpack, and a dark gray belt.

Personality
Stella is a highly motivated, responsible, and intelligent dog. A good example of these qualities can be seen in the episode "Settle Down," where she demonstrates her versatility by finding a way to take advantage of the rejuvenated crew's playful attitude to return to the M-Bark quickly and efficiently.

Stella has her flaws too. When she sets her mind to something, she'll do whatever it takes to achieve it. This often leads to her becoming very nervous when things go wrong, which leaves her feeling frustrated and defeated. Furthermore, it's clear she suffers from a lot of anxiety, which she doesn't seem to manage very well.

Although she's often exasperated by her crewmates' antics, Stella is a loyal friend and makes a point of checking on them regularly. She cares deeply about others' feelings, even putting herself in unpleasant or dangerous situations to help.

Appearance

Body
Chonies is a Chihuahua. He has camel-colored fur, a small snout, and a black nose. His head is very large compared to his bowling-shaped body. He has the largest ears of all the dogs in the series. Chonies also has two paws with opposable thumbs, like the other dogs.

Clothes
Chonies usually wears a red collar around his neck, most likely a gift from his owner, Andrew, when he was on Earth.

It is revealed that Chonies is not actually naked all the time, but is simply wearing a skin-colored suit, as Ed points out.

Personality
Chonies is intelligent, often building and repairing impressive gadgets. He also has a possibly macabre sense of humor, as seen when he tells Kira a joke before Luke reminds them that she's suffering. Furthermore, he can exhibit some anxiety under pressure. Being a sycophant, he generally lacks independence and opinions of his own, simply following Garbage everywhere.

His relationship with Garbage is much more noticeable. However, he seems to have issues with Atlas. They often act like rivals and rarely speak to each other. On the other hand, Ed seems to mock the Chonies. It's revealed that Ed basically steals other people's belongings, but changes his name to that of the crew, like Garbage, Nomi, Pepper, etc. Ed is also the one who leaves cards that say "STOLEN BY CHONIES" to hide who the real thief is. It's already clear that Ed doesn't care about his crew.

Appearance

Body
Kira is a Siberian Laika. Her fur is mauve and white because the environment of the planet where she was stranded altered her genetic makeup. She has ice-blue eyes, a medium-sized muzzle, and a black nose.

She is one of the few dogs without opposable thumbs until Stella uses the genetic enhancement machine on the crew to restore them to normal.

Clothes
Kira wears mustard-colored boots, shoulder pads, a brown scarf, a navy blue jumpsuit, and an onyx belt.

Personality
Kira is confident, fearless, and strong, the result of having to survive alone on an alien planet for nearly a decade. Beneath her tough exterior, Kira suffers from trust issues and abandonment problems that she struggles to overcome after being isolated and disconnected from everyone for so long. When the crew of Pluto found her stranded on her planet in the episode "Here Girl," she was convinced that humans, particularly her owner Olga, had forgotten about her. This led her to have a negative view of humans, believing that they didn't care about their dogs and only used them for tasks they could do themselves. She had also developed a strong sense of self-sufficiency, refusing any help from the crew and only accepting their offers to be left alone.

Once at M-BARK, Kira's years of isolation clearly took a toll on her. She exhibited behaviors more typical of animals than other dogs, such as running on all fours, growling, licking water, enjoying chewing on socks, and other actions most other dogs would consider strange. Kira struggled to understand technology due to her development during her time stranded, mistaking a projection for real food and failing to grasp how virtual reality works. She likely suffered trauma from being alone and insecure for so long.

Body
Nomi is a gray and white Shih Tzu. She has a small muzzle with a tiny black nose. Her eyes are white with a thin black outline; she is the second dog with white eyes, along with Duchess. On her head, she has a small tuft of white fur. Like most dogs, she has three toes and an opposable thumb on each paw.

Clothes
Nomi's usual outfit typically consists of a mustard-colored vest and a navy blue t-shirt.

Personality
Nomi is a very energetic, brave, and enthusiastic character. She's extremely impulsive and always has her laser guns ready. Like her team, she's lived through countless adventures and has no intention of letting them end.

Nomi has a childlike side, something quite obvious, like most naive children. She often ignores danger, even when it's right in front of her.

His favorite place is the M-Bark's arcade, and he seems to have a passion for karaoke. Furthermore, he describes Kira as a "living action figure" and tries to imitate what Kira does, such as eating alien corpses or killing aliens, demonstrating that he seems to view life as a kind of video game.

In general, he is an energetic and fearless Dog, but his greatest weakness is his recklessness, which can cause unwanted problems for his crew and endanger their safety.

Appearance

Body
Garbage is a corgi with amber fur decorated with several pale yellow markings. He has two paws, both with functional thumbs, thanks to a genetic modification. He has a medium-sized muzzle that is noticeably larger than Nomi's and Chonies's, but smaller than Stella's. Like Loaf and Ed, he has a fat pad forming his neck.

Before genetic modification, it moved on all fours.

Clothes
Garbage usually wears a medium red jacket with a red button and a yellow lapel, with yellow stars on both shoulders of the sleeves, a white shirt, gray pants, a belt with a brown strap and a gold buckle, and small dark gray shoes.

Personality
Garbage is often seen as stubborn and overconfident. With each planet he ventures to, he's certain it will be the perfect place for humanity. Unfortunately, Garbage can get carried away and exaggerate things, but he always assures everyone that he and his team are the best on M-Bark. He's known for frequently disobeying orders, as seen in "Fetch" when he decides to find a way to get Pluto reinstated after his evaluation by the Council.

No matter what happens to Garbage, he always tries to protect his team and has distinguished himself through his loyalty to M-Bark and his role as captain. However, he has a soft spot for his owner, Chelsea. He's certain she loves him, and he loves her too, but he was deeply confused by what she really meant when she sent him into space.

His true nature comes out when it comes to his team or when others are in danger. Garbage always tries to protect the other dogs (and aliens), especially his team, the Plutos. In tough times, he's known for being there for his team and doing what's right for them, especially considering the time.
