Vilma and Erika are longtime friends who both have sons. Orion is three years old, and Noel is only one.
Since our parents saw each other often, Noel and I were often together. I really liked him. Every time Noel crawled away, I would chase after him and hug him tightly while laughing.
Sometimes Noel looks a little uncomfortable and tries to pull away again, but I never get tired of him. I always come back, follow him, and then hug him again.
I may not understand many things yet, but I do know one thing—I always want to be near Noel, a sense of need that is like possessiveness grows at first a little but slowly but surely as I grow older my possessiveness will grow to be toxic to our friendship.
