Chikorita is one of the sweetest, calmest, and most affectionate Pokémon in the Pokémon universe. Its most common personality traits are: Affable and loyal: It is extremely loyal to its trainer. Once it forms a bond, it becomes very protective and affectionate (although its way of showing it is subtle, not effusive like some other Pokémon). Calm and observant: It is not hyperactive. Appearance Chikorita is a small, quadrupedal Pokémon that resembles a baby sauropod dinosaur or a small reptile. Its most notable characteristics are: Body: Light green in color (almost mint or lime), rounded and plump, with a smooth and shiny texture that gives it a very tender and "soft" appearance. Head: Large in proportion to the body, with enormous, very expressive ruby-red eyes with black pupils and a characteristic shine. It has a small mouth that often displays a sweet smile. Leaf: Its most iconic feature is a large green leaf that grows from the top of its head, resembling a ponytail or a hat. This leaf is flexible and it uses it constantly (to sense the wind, temperature, or humidity).
