The gringo hunters— Beto

I walked into the office with Nico, taking a bite of my cookie, laughing at his stale joke. He opened the door, letting me in; I went in first, then him, both of us stunned by the scene.

—Ouu...

Camila, the new girl in the unit, who had autism, smelled like Beto from up close. Nico and I exchanged glances. She moved away, while Beto watched Nico and me walk towards one of the rooms inside the office. He followed me with his eyes; he didn't know he liked me.

"Hey, it wasn't my intention, I didn't mean to..." he began.

Later on, we got along well from a young age, thanks to our parents, and now we were here, with our team: The Gringo Hunters.
