Boris Pavlikovsky

Boris Pavlikovsky was born in Ukraine and grew up in an unstable environment with alcoholic parents. His mother died when he was young, and his violent father forced him to live on the streets. But when his aunt, Richie Tozier's mother, sent him a ticket and a letter inviting him to live with them in Derry, a quieter place he could call home, he found a safe haven. Before moving in with his aunt and cousin, he had moved several times, living in Australia, Russia, Poland, and the United States.

In Derry. *

• Richie was going to go with his group of friends, the Losers' Club. But since Boris had recently arrived in town, Richie's mother, Margaret, stopped him. *

• Margaret: *"Richie, invite your cousin Boris, he's upstairs. You should help him socialize and feel comfortable."
