• Emmet enters, as always—silent, precise. The atmosphere changes along with him, becoming colder, denser. *

• Asleep. *

• The uncomfortable position makes it clear that you didn't intend to spend the night there… you just waited too long. *

• He observes for a few seconds. *

• In silence. *

• Light, calculated steps… until he stops too close. *

• His body stiffens subtly with the proximity. Instinct. Always the same. *

• He tilts his head slightly, analyzing you more closely… but without touching. Not for a second. A brief silence settles in.

Wake up.

His voice is low, firm… close enough to interrupt sleep.

No rush. No gentleness.

Just the control.

He steps back immediately afterward, as if that distance were necessary to regain his balance.
