Dragon Ball AF

Dragon Ball AF is a world where threats capable of destroying universes are an everyday occurrence; there is no safe place or world where there are no potential threats. You either train and become stronger or you are swallowed by death.

As such, Dragon Ball AF doesn't have a fixed storyline, since it has a variety of versions, but there are usually 8 sagas that remain constant or are considered the "main" ones.

Here begins the story of Dragon Ball AF. After Goku left with Shenron, peace reigned on planet Earth. But years of peace vanished before the new threat of Zaiko, Goku's third son, artificially created by the evil Supreme Kai, Lyra. Zaiko was so powerful that he humiliated Vegeta and Gohan in Super Saiyan 4 form and was only sealed in a sword. However, due to Zaiko's power, he was only going to be sealed for a month. During that time, they discovered a way to bring Goku back with a ritual requiring seven Super Saiyans: Goten, Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks, Bra, and Pan. To complete the ritual, they had to revive Broly (from Dragon Ball Z), and they succeeded in bringing him back. After doing so, Goku fought and defeated Zaiko with Super Saiyan 5 form with great ease.

After Zaiko, all the Z Fighters left Earth to train separately. Because of this, a demon named Kaarat went to Earth and opened a portal to Hell, allowing the damned to escape. Upon their return, the Z Fighters were defeated by Kaarat's minions and taken to Hell. Thanks to a plan where Goku pretended to be unconscious, he was taken to confront Kaarat and defeat him and his minions. After killing all of Kaarat's minions, Goku battled Kaarat for hours and finally managed to defeat him with great difficulty.

After the battle against Kaarat, Goku felt a pain in his chest. Because of this, he went to King Kai, who told him that Super Saiyan 5 gathered a great deal of evil energy. This caused Goku to expel it in a dark cloud, creating Evil Goku, who was the complete evil within him. Evil Goku took most of Goku's power, leaving him with less than half. Believing he had killed Goku, he went to Earth and defeated all the Z Fighters. In his fight against Vegeta, he almost finished him off, but Evil Goku achieved Super Saiyan 5 mid-battle, turning the tide of the fight. At that moment, Goku arrived to finish off Evil Goku. With a combination of the Kamehameha and the Spirit Bomb, he defeated Evil Goku.

Long ago, a Supreme Kai was sealed away for succumbing to the power of an evil entity. However, due to recent battles, the seal broke, and he was freed. Goku and Vegeta quickly trained, and when the day of the battle arrived on the Supreme Kai's planet, Z demonstrated power far superior to Goku and Vegeta. Only when they used Super Saiyan 4 did they begin to pose a threat, but in the end, they were defeated. Goten and Trunks, fused into Gotenks and in Super Saiyan 4, managed to humiliate Z, but overconfidence and exhaustion caused them to defuse and be defeated. Vegeta, in a fit of rage, achieved Super Saiyan 5, and at that moment, King Kai told Goku about the ritual to unleash the power of evil Supreme Kais. Goku accepted and quickly obtained that power through a ritual with the Dragon Balls on Namek. With this power, he defeated Z but was banished to another dimension as punishment for using it.

After Goku arrived in the Void World using the power of Super Saiyan 6, he could see almost nothing when he tried to look around. He sensed Ki so powerful that it made his own power seem like a joke. Because of this, he transformed into Super Saiyan 5, which instantly adapted to the dimension, allowing Goku to see more of the Void World. Over time, Goku constantly fought against beings that made him look like a novice. In that dimension, he met Irina. She sought to prevent the beings of that dimension from killing each other, as doing so would send them to Hell II. Known to everyone as the guardian of the Void World, she decided to train Goku to make him stronger. Irina taught him about the Ki that was abundant in that dimension, called Negative Ki. Over time, she developed a clear interest in the Saiyan and his Golden forms from Super Saiyan 1 to 3. She thought that Goku could channel Negative Ki within himself using the Golden transformations. Irina and Goku tested this theory. With Phase 1, and it turned out to be correct, Goku began training with that power until he combined Negative Ki, which was the most he could use. The more Negative Ki he used, the more crazed Goku became, naming the form Super Saiyan 7. But in the shadows, the demonic Saiyan Kidnaped spied. This was a prisoner who, to put it simply, was identical to Vegeta in many aspects, even being, so to speak, his predecessor. Upon seeing Son Goku's transformation into Phase 7, he used that power to open a dimensional rift and escape. Irina, seeing this, decided to use the evil Ki of the Evil Kaioshins that she possessed to open a portal so that Goku could escape and stop Kidnaped, sacrificing herself and saying a few last words to Goku: "Thank you for everything, my Saiyan hero." Upon leaving the Void World dimension, Goku faced Kidnaped in a difficult battle in which he almost lost, but remembering Irina, he managed to start gaining the upper hand. After fighting Kidnapped, Goku was taken to the Sacred World of the Kais to explain what happened. But in Hell, Cell, Frieza, Bibidi, and Babidi were preparing their escape. They planned to kidnap Uub, the reincarnation of Evil Majin Buu, for their schemes. Through a portal created using Babidi and Bibidi's ki accumulated over years, and with the help of Cell and Frieza, they managed to gather enough power for the four of them to escape. The four knew they couldn't do anything against Uub, much less the Saiyans, so they proceeded cautiously and stealthily. Upon reaching Uub, Babidi and Bibidi used their combined magic to try to manipulate him, since he was still, in a way, Buu's creation. They knocked him unconscious and took him to the Amazon Dimension. The Z Fighters were warned by Dende with the help of the Dragon Balls, but it was too late, and they couldn't reach them. Before leaving, Kibito Kai told them... He proposed that everyone achieve Super Saiyan 6, as he had found a way to use it without the punishment of going to the Void World. They all went to a dimension of the demon that granted that power. The only rule was not to reveal their full power, which was Super Saiyan 5. Upon arriving, each defeated the demon in different ways. Goku used Kaioken x100, Vegeta alternated between his Super Saiyan forms, Goten and Trunks simply used Super Saiyan 3, and Gohan used Mystic. After defeating the demon and gaining a considerable power boost in their base forms, they returned to Earth and performed the ritual. Goku, knowing where he had to go with Kibito Kai's help, left with Vegeta using his Instant Transmission, which had been enhanced by the demon. They went to Amazon Lily but encountered its guardian. Goku, using Super Saiyan 7, and Vegeta, using Super Saiyan 6, were no match for her. However, Vegeta, whose ability to switch between transformations had been enhanced by the demon, managed to combine Super Saiyan 3 and Super Saiyan 5. to create phase 8, defeating Ali

Through a permanent fusion procedure, they combined the three villains and their qualities—Frieza's potential, Buu's evil, and Cell's perfection—into a single being called Cellbuzer. He headed to the center of the Amazon Dimension for a reason: the closer he got to the center of this dimension, the more intensely it functioned, like a Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Knowing this, Goku and Vegeta simply decided to return to their own dimension.

Upon returning, Goku and Vegeta decided to enter the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and train. They had a battle where Goku used Super Saiyan 7 and Vegeta Super Saiyan 8. The fight was intense, and Vegeta won. However, because the chamber was connected to the Amazon Dimension's core, Goku and Vegeta sensed Cellbuzer's power, which proved too much for them to face. Therefore, they devised a plan. With the help of King Yemma, they entered the realms of Hell to seek assistance from Zaiko. King Yemma had told them that Zaiko was in Hell 2, and they would have to traverse the other realms to reach him. With no other option, they agreed and went with permission granted by King Yemma. Thanks to this, they passed through Hell 5 without incident and arrived at Hell 4, where they encountered Baby, who helped them reach Hell 3. What they didn't expect was to find Evil Goku there. Thanks to the evil within his body, he had obtained a soul and was training to use the Ki of... In Hell 3, using a hellish version of Super Saiyan 7, Goku and Vegeta had to use Super Saiyan 8 because Evil Goku was lost in that power and couldn't even reason. Furthermore, the Ki of Hell was more powerful than negative Ki. After defeating him, they encountered Kaarat, who helped them reach the gates of Hell 2. However, to enter without problems, they had to use evil Ki to avoid succumbing to the enormous pressure exerted by Hell 2. Goku used pre-Super Saiyan 7 Super Saiyan 1, and Vegeta used Super Saiyan 6. Despite using Super Saiyan 6, Vegeta couldn't withstand the pressure and almost succumbed to Hell 2, but with the help of an unexpected figure, that didn't happen. Angel Z helped Vegeta and saved him from his imminent punishment. He took them to Zaiko and explained what had happened: he had consumed half of his soul for more power, and because of this, he was taken to Hell 2 even though his place was in Hell 3. And Vegeta felt his immense power

Goku and Vegeta, sensing Zaiko's power, knew he would be a crucial ally. However, Angel Z advised them that the best option was to steal his potential and make it their own, since Zaiko wouldn't reason. Goku and Vegeta, believing this to be the best course of action, were desperate and agreed. They both knew that separately they couldn't do anything against Zaiko, so, following the steps of fusion, they brought Gogeta back, transformed into Super Saiyan 6. Reaching Zaiko and releasing him, Zaiko transformed into Super Saiyan 5, but his power was so immense that even Gogeta's Super Saiyan 6 fell short. Because of this, Gogeta used Super Saiyan 7, but at the risk of the fusion only lasting 5 minutes. The battle was intense and evenly matched. Gogeta was running out of time, but Zaiko seemed tireless. At that moment, Lyra, Zaiko's mother, appeared and distracted him long enough for... Gogeta charged a Negative Dragon Fist and defeated Zaiko, stealing his potential and obtaining a new form, Super Saiyan 9. Because of the noise caused by the fight, all the demons were heading in that direction. Upon learning this, Angel Z decided to sacrifice himself by opening a portal to the normal world, saving Goku and Vegeta as he vanished. Goku and Vegeta were now ready for the fight that was about to take place.

While Goku and Vegeta were in Hell, Cellbuzer had arrived on Earth searching for them, but only found Gohan, Goten, and Trunks. Cellbuzer decided to toy with them. The three of them fought in Super Saiyan 6, but it was useless due to the creature's enormous power. Goten and Trunks fused into Gotenks, but even then it was impossible to face him. Even Bra and Pan, who had trained to reach Super Saiyan 5, were no match for Cellbuzer. They didn't really want to defeat him, just buy some time. Meanwhile, Goku and Vegeta were ready to carry out a plan they had devised to defeat Cellbuzer. When Vegeta arrived on Earth, he saw the devastation; everyone was defeated. Despite the anger he felt, he remained calm to put his plan into action, wanting to try to talk to Cellbuzer, but Cellbuzer couldn't take it anymore and destroyed the Earth. Only the warriors survived with their remaining strength. Luckily, Bra and Pan had brought Senzu Beans. The hermit and they gave them to everyone, recovering their powers while Vegeta, seeing that talking wouldn't work, decided to fight transformed into Super Saiyan 8. Goku, on the other hand, hadn't been idle; he had gone to the Void World dimension to seek the help of its inhabitants. All the warriors recognized him as the warrior who surpassed Irina, deciding to help him as an act of redemption. Seeing their positive response, Goku used Instant Transmission to arrive with Cellbuzer and Vegeta, taking them both to the Void World dimension along with Goten, Gohan, Trunks, Bra, and Pan. Since Goku and Vegeta had the numerical advantage, Cellbuzer decided to use Cell's technique to create offspring to deal with the trouble, leaving Goku in Super Saiyan 7 and Vegeta in Super Saiyan 8 against Cellbuzer. It was a complicated battle against the fused being, but Goku would realize something interesting, and with that, he would take Vegeta to a secluded place.

Goku asked the warriors from the Void World dimension to provide cover for at least two minutes. The warriors readily agreed and stood firm. During those two minutes, Goku and Vegeta fused, summoning Gogeta. They then immediately transformed into Super Saiyan 7, charging a massive Negative Dragon Fist. Once charged, Gogeta ordered everyone to stand back and immediately attacked Cellbuzer. Cellbuzer, who was now susceptible to Negative Ki, was severely damaged, but the attack wasn't enough to kill him. Goku and Vegeta separated due to the energy expenditure. Bra quickly ran to them, giving them a Senzu Bean. Seeing they had no other option, they decided to use their new form, Super Saiyan 9. With this new form, both Goku and Vegeta gained an absurd advantage. However, there was a detail they had forgotten, which Cellbuzer reminded them of: What do the villains in this fusion have in common? It was easy to see that they could transform, allowing Cellbuzer to reach his second form, gaining the upper hand until reinforcements arrived—completely unexpected reinforcements. Bardock, along with the other Saiyans, and King Yemma, knew that Cellbuzer was a threat even to the Underworld. He decided to open all the Hells except the first, bringing all the dead to fight in that battle. Even beings like Evil Goku and Kidnapped understood the threat Cellbuzer represented, reluctantly helping Goku and Vegeta. At that moment, Zaiko appeared to help them, telling them that to achieve the complete Super Saiyan 9 form, they had to sacrifice half their souls, which would be an eternal torment of emptiness. Vegeta would be the exception, since thanks to the Majin mark on his forehead, he could avoid this punishment and temporarily use Super Saiyan 9 at its maximum power with Zaiko's help, but it would also be useless because Cellbuzer was a monster.

Cellbuzer quickly transformed into his third form, displaying an overwhelming power that no one could believe. Zaiko, in his desperation upon learning what would happen, quickly told the Z Fighters about the Forbidden Power, a power of pure accumulated evil energy that, in theory, if used correctly, could grant them power close to that of a god. Having no other options, they decided to attempt it. The participants in the ritual were Vegeta, Goten, Trunks, and Bardock, though they wouldn't be enough. Broly arrived to help. Through certain deductions, they concluded that the best transformation to obtain the Forbidden Power was to use Super Saiyan 5 and give all of its negative power to Goku. He wouldn't be able to withstand it, preventing the ritual from being fully effective. However, seeing that such a small body wouldn't be sufficient, they decided to use the Great Ape (Oozaru) to channel it. This idea seemed to work, creating the new transformation of Super Saiyan 10. But it would only last for one minute, or Goku would be erased from existence. Meanwhile, Goku began doing everything possible to quickly kill Cellbuzer, who forced his body into a fourth transformation for more power, but it was completely useless and in vain, as he was eliminated anyway. Despite everything, Goku couldn't undo the transformation. With only 30 seconds left, he said goodbye to all his friends, rivals, and family, leaving the Earth in their hands and resigning himself to death, knowing that for him there was neither hell nor paradise. Goku, the low-class warrior who was born among the weakest, became the most powerful being in existence. Goku's story came to an end at that very moment; instead of a happy ending with his family, he died an inevitable death, and in the last second, he could only smile, knowing one thing: "If a loser makes a great effort, perhaps he can surpass the powers of a distinguished warrior."
