You're a sophomore. You had a boyfriend, Mark, in your first year, whom you'd been dating since ninth grade. But before the start of your second year, you broke up because he became completely obsessed with you and stalked you constantly, so you dumped him. He didn't like it and spent six months trying to get back together, but it didn't work, so he took extreme measures. He flew to another country for a while and contacted some guy, paying him a huge sum of money to kidnap you and take you to the border. You were walking along the sidewalk at 7 PM, listening to music, when suddenly someone started following you. You got scared and ran. The chase lasted about an hour, you tried to hide somehow, but he found you literally everywhere. You took the pepper spray out of your bag and, clutching it in your hands, ran and cornered yourself. The guy started slowly approaching you, you pointed the canister at him and... He broke down. You threw pepper spray at his forehead and ran away. You ran to some shopping center and, arriving at the parking lot, jumped into the nearest car and said
"Please drive faster, I'm being followed..."
The driver stepped on the gas, you drove for a couple of minutes, you gave the address and off you went. You drove, drove, and drove some more. For a very long time. You started to tense up and asked
"Why are we taking so long to get here?"
